PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polarizing plate, wherein a cellulose acetate-based resin film is bonded to one surface of a polyvinyl alcohol-based polarizing film and a polyethylene terephthalate film is bonded to the other surface, while exhibiting sufficient adhesive strength between the polarizing film and the films disposed on both surfaces thereof with less recess defects.SOLUTION: A cellulose acetate-based resin film 2 is bonded to one surface of a polarizing film 1 made of a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin via an aqueous adhesive, and a polyethylene terephthalate film 3 is bonded to the other surface via the aqueous adhesive. In producing a polarizing plate 10, the polyethylene terephthalate film 3 has an easily adhesive layer on a surface thereof to be bonded to the polarizing film 1, and a moisture content of the polarizing film 1 immediately before bonding is 8 to 12 wt.%, and the polarizing film 1 is passed through a drying furnace 7 while applying tension in a flow direction in a state where these films are bonded to both surfaces of the polarizing film 1 respectively. |
