PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye sublimation thermal transfer method for making reading of only transfer marks on a used dye sublimation thermal transfer ink ribbon difficult, and to provide an information leakage preventing system.SOLUTION: The dye sublimation thermal transfer method includes: (i) a step for preparing a body to be transferred for recording a two-dimensional pattern (A) to be recorded; (ii) a step for preparing a ribbon that is a dye sublimation thermal transfer ribbon, which has a base material, a non-transferrable reading preventing layer, and a sublimation-transferrable color-material layer, and that is provided with a color-material layer and a reading preventing layer having a disturbance pattern (B) containing elements similar to those of the two-dimensional pattern (A) recorded on the body to be transferred; (iii) a step for preparing information of the two-dimensional pattern (A) to be recorded on the body to be transferred; and (iv) a step for executing dye sublimation thermal transfer of the pattern (A) to the body to be transferred on the basis of the information of the two-dimensional pattern (A) by using the dye sublimation thermal transfer ribbon. |
