PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an R-T-B based permanent magnet having superio magnetization characteristics.SOLUTION: An organic metal compound solution doped with an organic metal compound represented by M-(OR)(wherein M contains at least one kind of Al, Cu, Zr, Nb, Hf and Co, R is any one of 2-6C alkyl groups and may be a straight chain or a branched chain, and x is an arbitrary integer) is doped to a fine powder of a pulverized R-T-B based magnet, and the organic metal compound is uniformly deposited to the surface of magnetic particles. After that, a molded body formed by powder compaction is maintained for several hours at 200-900°C in a hydrogen atmosphere to execute temporary baking processing in hydrogen. Then, the resulted product is baked at 800-1,180°C, thereby a permanent magnet 1 is manufactured. |
