PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus which eliminates the necessity of power supply to a power supply controller in a power OFF state for restoring a power supply from a power OFF state when a display panel is opened/closed.SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes a power supply controller for controlling power supply and a circuit for supplying power to the power supply controller. The circuit supplies power to the power supply controller on the basis of an output signal output from a display panel opening/closing detection switch and indicating open of the display panel. The power supply controller receiving power supply turns the own device from a power OFF state to a power ON state on the basis of the output signal. |
