PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous coating composition which is superior in storage stability, and is capable of forming a coated film having low gross, and excelling in water-repellency, water resistance, and the like.SOLUTION: The aqueous coating composition comprises a (meth)acrylic polymer emulsion (A) obtained by polymerizing a (meth)acrylic monomer containing 2-15 mass% of a polymerizable monomer having a hydroxyl group, a silicone resin aqueous dispersion (B), and a high HLB surfactant (C) having an HLB of 16-20. The aqueous coating composition contains 0.2-2 pts.mass of the high HLB surfactant (C) to 100 pts.mass of the (meth)acrylic polymer emulsion (A). |
