PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad vehicle having a structure that suppresses expansion of destruction against an impact load from the outside more safely.SOLUTION: In the railroad vehicle 1, a tension member 31 is provided in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body with respect to a vehicle structure 10 having a side body structure 12, a roof body structure 13, and an end body frame structure 14. The tension member 31 is a long member that is like a band or a string and is flexible, passes through a space 25 penetrating in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body formed between an outer plate 21 and an inner plate 22 or the outer plate 21 and a skeleton member configuring the side body structure 12 and the roof body structure 13, and is mounted on the vehicle body structure to be restricted in movement by tension at at least two points in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body. |
