PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Co-Fe alloy fine particle having high saturation magnetization, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The Co-Fe alloy fine particle comprises 45-60 mass% Co and has a particle shape formed by agglomerating a plurality of polyhedrons into at least one shape chosen from a column, a plate or a mass. The surface of the Co-Fe alloy fine particle has continuous irregularities that are formed by a series of surfaces of the plurality of polyhedrons. Since magnetic flux tends to concentrate at corners between planes composing the irregularities, high magnetic anisotropy and high saturation magnetization can be achieved. |
