PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device 1 of a variable damping force damper 14, which has a high convergent property in controlling the attitude of a vehicle body 11 and can improve ride comfort even when vibration (motion) near unsprung resonance frequency having high change speed is applied from a road surface etc. to a wheel (unsprung) W when the vehicle body (sprung) 11 is in motion at sprung speed slower than change speed in sky-hook control.SOLUTION: The control device 1 of a variable damping force damper 14 performs the sky-hook control in which a target damping force is set up based on sprung speed to variably control an actual damping force of the variable damping force damper 14 provided on a suspension device S of a vehicle, the actual damping force is set to a target damping force when the sprung speed and the damper speed are in the same direction, and the actual damping force is set up lower than the target damping force when the sprung speed and the damper speed are in the reverse direction. In the control device, the deviation between the target damping force and the actual damping force is calculated to correct the target damping force based on the deviation. |
