The 3D image signal processing device is equipped with: an image processing unit that processes prescribed image signals with respect to the image signal of the first viewpoint signal and/or the second viewpoint signal; and a control unit that controls the image processing unit. The control unit controls the image processing unit in such a manner that shading is performed on the image signal of the first viewpoint signal and/or the second viewpoint signal, whereby smoothing is performed on pixel values of pixels located at the boundary between an object contained in an image represented by at least one of the image signals and an image adjacent thereto.
