PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform the diagnostic imaging of the lungs while considering the relevance to a branching structure (bronchi for example) by using a three-dimensional medical image showing the thorax of a subject.SOLUTION: From the three-dimensional medical image, a lung field extraction section 31 extracts a lung field area, a bronchus extraction section 32 extracts a bronchus area, an attention lung field small area estimation section 34 estimates a lung field local small areas in the lung field area which are functionally related to the bronchial local small areas on the basis of the bronchus area for each of a plurality of the bronchus local small areas into which a bronchial local area showing part of the bronchus area is split, a lung evaluation value computation section 35 acquires a lung evaluation value in each of the lung field local small areas, a display control section 36 displays the lung evaluation value in the lung field local small areas functionally related to the bronchial local small areas in a form image, superposedly on the form image showing at least part of the form of the bronchial local area generated from the three-dimensional medical image in a mode permitting the corresponding relation to the bronchial local small areas in a form image to be recognized. |
