PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording paper having an ink receiving layer prepared by a cast coating method, which is excellent in guillotine cuttability and also in inkjet recording suitability of a non-coating surface.SOLUTION: An ink receiving layer containing colloidal silica of an average primary particle diameter of 150 nm or less is prepared by the cast coating method on one surface of a support having air permeability. On the opposite side of the ink receiving layer, a coating layer composed mainly of a metallic soap, preferably zinc stearate and/or calcium stearate. |
