PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetron capable of fine adjustment of a magnetic field intensity.SOLUTION: The magnetron is provided with a movable mass member composed of a magnetic-permeable material such as a slider 20 in order to make a fine adjustment of a magnetic field intensity between pole pieces 14, 15 of the magnetron, and the slider is slidable in a tangential direction throughout the surface of an outside casing 16 of an anode. When a desired adjustment in the magnetic field is attained, the slider can be locked at a prescribed position. A rotating member is available as another mass member which is movable. |
