PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device enabling proper temperature control of an arc tube, having simplified construction while suppressing the occurrence of noises.SOLUTION: The light source device 2 for delivering light includes the arc tube 11 having a light emitting part 15 for emitting the light and a sealed part 16 integrally provided on the light emitting part at the opposite side to the delivering direction of the light, a main reflecting mirror 12 for reflecting the light emitted from the light emitting part to the delivering direction, a first electrode 18 provided around the sealed part, and a second electrode 19 provided on the first electrode at the opposite side to the delivering direction. Voltage is applied between the first electrode and the second electrode to cause ion wind so that air around the light emitting part can flow. |
