PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of predicting tire performance by which the durability of skeleton members inside a tire can be predicted.SOLUTION: The method of predicting tire performance includes: a step S1 of setting up a tire model in which a pneumatic tire is divided into a plurality of elements; a step S2 of setting up a projection model that models structures imitating projections present on a road and having higher rigidity than a rubber material constituting the pneumatic tire; a step S3 of setting up boundary conditions when analyzing the deformation of the tire model; and a step S4 of calculating a physical quantity occurring to each element corresponding to the skeleton members in the tire model by analyzing deformation using the tire model and the projection model according to the set up boundary conditions. |
