PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proximity switch carrying out for temperature compensation without preparing a circuit for compensating the temperature characteristic of a coil.SOLUTION: The proximity switch compensates temperature dependency in a detected distance of a coil part 6 due to a variation in space A between a detection surface inner wall 9a and the coil part 6 which is varied according to expansion/shrinkage of a case 9 and filler 10 according to a temperature variation by providing a fixed part 20 in a position B for canceling the temperature characteristic of the coil part 6 by the amount of variation in the space A and partially fixing a part of the filler 10 to the inner wall of the case 9, and allowing the filler 10 to expand and shrink with this position as a base point. |
