ASPERULOSIDE-CONTAINING BEVERAGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asperuloside-containing beverage favorably suiting consumer's taste without using a sweetener or the like.SOLUTION: There is provided a beverage containing asperuloside and barley tea extract. In the beverage containing asperuloside and barley tea extract, the barley tea has a Brix value of 0.05-0.2, and the asperuloside has a concentration of 50-500 mg/L. The taste of the beverage has excellent properties which suits taste of more consumers without addition of the sweetener or the like. The asperuloside-containing beverage is suitable for improvement and/or prevention in/from obesity.
