PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide barley tea extracted by water, becoming barley tea beverage presenting real color and flavor without waiting by stirring in room temperature water, and to provide a tea bag storing the barley tea.SOLUTION: The barley tea is obtained by mixing pregelatinized roasted barley and charbroil roasted barley, bringing an L value of the mixture in a Lab color system to ≤31 by adjusting the roasting degree of the roasted barley before mixing, and grain refining bath roasted barley before and after mixing followed by bringing to barley tea including ≥70 wt.% of barley of <10 mesh particle size. As a result of this, the barley tea is used as it is or by storing in a tea bag, as the barley tea extracted by water. The mixture contains 5-30 wt.% of the pregelatinized roasted barley, and 70-95 wt.% of the charbroil roasted barley. |
