PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate discontinuous change in output voltage with respect to a voltage instruction, in a simple and easy manner.SOLUTION: A PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) controller comprises: pulse time detectors 40, 50 which detect pulse-on-time of a PWM signal and an inverting PWM signal, respectively; comparator circuits 60, 70 which compare pulse time detected by the pulse time detectors 40, 50 with predetermined dead time and output the pulse-on-time when the pulse-on-time is less than the dead time, and output the dead time when the pulse-on-time is equal to or more than the dead time, respectively; a variable delay circuit 80 which delays rise of the PWM signal to generate a drive signal (PWM_U signal) based on delay time from the comparator circuit 70; and a variable delay circuit 90 which delays rise of the inverting PWM signal to generate a drive signal (PWM_nU signal) based on delay time from the comparator circuit 60. |
