PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide SIP communication equipment and a caller authentication method, which allow caller authentication in which storage of data such as a password regarding authentication processing is unnecessary even when a storage network of a caller is unknown or when an unsecure network is interposed.SOLUTION: In an incoming side SIP server (K) which stores a callee SIP terminal UE (k), upon reception (1-2) of an incoming call request (SIP INVITE) information which is a call setting request message, a terminal UE (n) of the caller is specified from the information. Then, a call request (SIP INVITE) information which is a return call setting request message is newly transmitted from the incoming side SIP server (K) to the terminal UE (n) of the caller (1-3). In the incoming side SIP server (K), a response to a call request is received (1-4) to authenticate the caller based on call information (a session state) included in the response. |
