PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail flaw detection device that inspects internal defects by allowing ultrasonic waves to enter a track rail by a probe, and especially includes a variable width type guide wheel where the probe of the rail flaw detection device is positioned on a rail front part and ultrasonic waves impinge on the entire rail appropriately even if the track rail is deformed.SOLUTION: The right and left guide wheels of the rail flaw detection device are varied independently each, and the probe is positioned on the rail front part in flaw detection by adjusting width direction positions of the right and left guide wheels to a shape of the head part of the track rail.
