PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy acrylate, an acrylic composition and cured products excellent in heat resistance and low thermal expansion, useful as hard coat materials, UV curable coatings, glass alternative materials, color filters for liquid crystal display, resins for solder resists, or resins for electroless plating resist etc., especially useful for optical materials.SOLUTION: There are disclosed epoxy acrylates represented by general formula (1), and the acrylic resin compositions comprising the epoxy acrylates and a polymerization initiator. (X represents hydrogen atom or methyl, Z is 1-6C alkyl, a is a number of 0-5, b is a number of 0-4, in the formula). The epoxy acrylate is obtained by reacting an epoxy biphenyl compound with acrylic acid or methacrylic acid. |
