PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope hood which can fix, in the case of using a probe which is placed at a leading end of an insertion part of an endoscope so as to protrude therefrom and acquires data of a region to be measured in a direction substantially orthogonal to an axial direction, the probe in the state of being set along the region to be measured in the axial direction, and also can fix it to the region to be measured by adsorption without any influence on a human body.SOLUTION: At the leading end of the insertion part 10 of the endoscope, the probe 100 for OCT for instance is arranged so as to protrude. The hood 110 includes a soft hood part 117, an opening 114 in a direction substantially orthogonal to the axial direction of the probe 100, and a ring-like part 120 harder than the hood part 117 at the peripheral edge of the opening 114. When a gas inside the hood part 117 is sucked at the region to be measured, the opening 114 is adsorbed to the region to be measured, the hood part 117 is deflected, and the probe 100 is fixed to the region to be measured in the state of being abutted in the axial direction. |
