PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in picture quality by suppressing generation of white lines and deterioration in color development.SOLUTION: For each unit region in image data, ink with a plurality of colors is ranked in accordance with an amount ejected to the unit region. Then, a precoating data preparation section selects, for each unit region, ink of the colors classified in the highest rank (S11) or ink classified in the highest rank as well as in the lowest brightness (S13). Further, when the selected ink is ejected, if the quantity of a processing liquid in the initial data prepared by an initial data preparation process is not the quantity soaked in paper (S14: NO), the initial data is changed so that the soaked quantity is attained (S15). |
