PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a charging platform capable of reducing the number of terminals used between the charging platform and electronic apparatus, while enabling decision of the connection of a USB charger.SOLUTION: The charging platform includes a charger deciding section 17 for deciding the connection of the USB charger 110, by detecting the conductive state of the terminals (D- and D+) for communication in a USB charging standard and a connection information 18 for mechanically indicating the connection of the USB charger 110 to a portable terminal 50, when the charger decision 17 decides on the connection of the USB charger 110. Consequently, the terminals (D- and D+) for communication can be omitted in both the charging platform 1 and the portable terminal 50, while decision on the connection of the USB charger is allowed; and cost reduction and miniaturization are enabled and improved design is attained. |
