PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool capable of varying a form of striking under appropriate situations.SOLUTION: An electronic pulse screwdriver 1 includes: a switching element for supplying power to a motor 3; a gear mechanism 41 connected with the motor for changing rotation speed of the motor; a hammer 42 which rotates with driving force supplied via the gear mechanism from the motor; an anvil 52 provided separately from the hammer 42 and rotating with rotation force supplied by the rotation of the hammer; a tip tool holding part 51 capable of holding the tip tool for transmitting the rotation of the anvil to the tip tool; a power supply part 24 for supplying driving power to the motor; a control part for controlling the power supply part to change magnitude of the driving power when current flowing to the motor while the driving power is supplied increases to a predetermined threshold; a temperature detecting part for detecting a temperature of the switching element; and a threshold changing part for changing a threshold value based on the temperature of the switching element. |
