PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for production of nickel nanoparticles which can suitably obtain nickel nanoparticles with a particle diameter of ≤50 nm by a simple process using liquid phase reaction.SOLUTION: The method for production of nickel nanoparticles comprises the steps of: heating a mixture of straight-chain nickel carboxylate having 1 to 3 carbon atoms with a primary amine to produce a nickel complex, thereby preparing a complexed reaction solution; adding the complexed reaction solution with one or more metal salts selected from the group consisting of a palladium salt, a silver salt, a platinum salt and a gold salt; and heating the complexed reaction solution admixed with the metal salt with a microwave to produce nickel nanoparticles. |
