PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently operate a main engine according to the secular change of a ship.SOLUTION: An observer 12 is provided for simulating a controlled object 10 including a hull, the main engine and a propeller. A governor command u from a control section 11 for controlling the main engine is used as an input to the observer 12. An actual rotational speed Ne of the main engine is fed back to the observer 12. A ship speed Vmo before aged deterioration, which is estimated by the observer 12, is stored in a memory 13. Control parameters are corrected on the basis of a difference between a ship speed Vm estimated by the observer 12 after aged deterioration and the ship speed Vmo before aged deterioration. |
