PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition of an oil adsorbing sheet or mat which is used for emergency waterproofness, water quality accidents, oil accidents, adsorbs oil existing in water or on land in high oil adsorption efficiency, has no affinity for water and exhibits an excellent effect when a bad smell is removed.SOLUTION: The composition of the oil adsorbing sheet or mat is produced by adsorbing a liquid on a porous body formed from diatomaceous earth swarf, zeolite chips, waste expanded glass or sawdust, which are industrial waste, to stick the liquid to the porous body. Otherwise, the composition of the oil adsorbing sheet or mat is produced by adsorbing oil on the porous body formed from chaff, rice bran, a soybean or wheat bran, which are agricultural waste, to stick the oil to the porous body. |
