[Class 89(ii)] [Also in Groups XXII and XXXIV] A member for limiting the end play of a shaft has an annular flange portion 28, Fig. 7, and two diametrically opposed axially extending portions 27 which may be crimped into opposite transverse grooves 19. This member may be removed by turning it relatively to the shaft so that the crimped parts ride out of the grooves. Additional axial extending portions may be provided intermediate the portions 27 for the purpose of alignment. In a modification, the annular flange 34, Fig. 13, is separate from the axial portion 33 which is split and has a portion 35 sheared into the groove 19.
