METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IMPLEMENTING REVERSE SINGLE RADIO VOICE CALL CONTINUITY

A method and system for implementing reverse Single Radio Voice Call Continuity (rSRVCC) are provided in the present invention. The method includes: after receiving a handover request from Circuit Switch (CS) domain, the current Mobile Switching Center (MSC) sends a transfer request regarding User Equipment (UE) subscribers or sessions UE subscribers participate in to the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) Control Function Entity (ICFE); and after receiving the transfer request, the ICFE initiates the media connection establishment procedure between the UE and far end. The technical solution of the present invention ensures rSRVCC when a UE hands over from CS domain to PS domain.
