<p>The present invention relates to a process for producing current collectors, current collectors made by such a process, and batteries containing current collectors made by such a process. The current collector is produced from a polymer substrate that is rendered electro-conductive and is electroplated at temperatures that are less than a softening temperature of the substrate. The substrate can be rendered electro- conductive by applying an electro-conductive material and/or by including a powder in the substrate, wherein the powder is carbon powder, a metal powder, or a metal-alloy powder.</p> |
