PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter substrate for a display device, contributing to high-accuracy reading information from the external.SOLUTION: The display device 10 is configured so that a substrate 50 is disposed opposite to a back substrate 70 having first and second optical sensors 81, 82, and external information is read based on the output of the optical sensors. The substrate includes: a base material 51; a coloring part 52 for demarcating a pixel region A1; an optical filter part 61 formed at a position to confront the first optical sensor; and a light shielding part 62 formed at a position to confront the second optical sensor. The maximum transmittance of the light shielding part for the light with a wavelength of 380-1,000 nm is 0.05% or less.
