PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic apparatus, which can notify an external apparatus of detailed information on a command processing result such as a detailed content of error as additional information even in an existing command system.SOLUTION: The portable electronic apparatus includes an executing unit S13, a generating unit S17, a storing unit S18, a first processing unit S19, S16, and a second processing unit S20, S16. The executing unit executes command processing according to a command received from the external device. The generating unit generates additional information associated with a result of the command processing executed by the executing unit. The storing unit stores the additional information generated by the generating unit. The first processing unit transmits a response containing the result of the command processing by the executing unit and information indicating presence of the additional information to the external apparatus, if the storing unit stores the additional information generated by the generating unit. The second processing unit transmits the additional information stored in the storing unit to the external apparatus, if receiving a command of requesting the additional information from the external apparatus. |
