PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map data management system capable of updating and sorting map data efficiently by reducing the regions where exclusive control is set.SOLUTION: An object reading unit 15 reads from a hard disk 14 an object existing within a mesh designated from a terminal device 12, and refers to an existing mesh number to read a boundary object that spans over the mesh and that is managed by another mesh existing around the mesh. A control unit 17 sends the object and the boundary object read by the object reading unit 15 via an intranet 13 to a terminal device 12 that has sent a read request, and sets an exclusive control regarding the object and the boundary object. |
