<p>A method and a system for transmitting a measurement configuration are provided by the present invention, which relate to the Long Term Evolution (LTE) system. The method of the present invention includes the following steps: a network side equipment fills in a measurement configuration, in said measurement configuration the trigger measurement quantities include Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) and Reference Signal Received Quality (RSRQ), and the parameters for handover judgment include RSRP information parameters corresponding to handover judgment and RSRQ related parameters corresponding to handover judgment; said network side equipment sends above measurement configuration to a user equipment to instruct said user equipment to judge, based on the measured RSRP and RSRQ, whether it sends a measurement report related to handover event to said network side equipment. The technical solution of the present invention effectively ensures the handover quality, and reduces the dropped calls which are due to the bad handover quality, thus improving the network service performance and enhancing the customer satisfaction.</p> |
