FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fabrication and installation of borehole radial-flow filter for water-, has- and oil production wells. Method of borehole filter production comprises fitting tube of required length and diameter with filtration section into lathe and arranging filtration element on filtration section outer surface. Prior to placing filtration element on tube filtration section, spiral grooves are made on rotating tube outer surface that may get widened after local destruction of tube material under said grooves in mandreling after placing in borehole at required interval. Filtration element is placed in said spiral grooves locked on its ends in tube rotation. ^ EFFECT: reduced filter drag, longer life and higher efficiency. ^ 2 dwg
