PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic thin film capable of simplifying an element configuration, acquiring a luminescent color independent of current density or operation time and further obtaining a luminescent color high in luminous efficiency and broad in width, particularly white light different in various color temperatures, and to provide an organic electroluminescent element.SOLUTION: In the organic thin film including a platinum complex and a host material, the platinum complex has monomer emission in the range of 440 nm or more and 480 nm or less, and also an emission maximum wavelength originating in excimer emission in the range of 530 nm or more and 650 nm or less; and the platinum complex is a platinum complex with a specific structure containing a tetradentate ligand. |
