PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the degradation of image quality caused by the occurrence of a white streak and the bleeding of ink.SOLUTION: When there is a unit area where the value of precoat data produced based on image data is a predetermined value (the maximum amount of a processing liquid fully penetrated into a paper P at the point of time when the ink is discharged at first) or more, the value of the precoat data of the unit area is reduced to less than the predetermined value (S3). Further, in the unit area adjacent to the unit area where the value of the precoat data is changed in the step S3, a change is performed so as to increase the amount of the processing liquid discharged to the adjacent unit area (S12 and S14). |
