PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of deterioration in accuracy for predicted traffic information because the older the collection period for the past traffic information that is used for creating the predicted traffic information becomes in comparison to the predicted subject time, the more unignorable the variation in a traffic situation is.SOLUTION: The travel-time prediction apparatus acquires base and synthetic strength for the base by carrying out a statistical processing of past traffic information, approximates real time traffic information by using this base, and reflects this to the predicted traffic information by correcting the synthetic strength by distributing a difference between respective synthetic strength obtained for the base and the synthetic strength acquired beforehand for each predicted coefficient for respective day type factors. |
