PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winding apparatus and a winding method for a superconducting coil that wind a superconducting wire around a spool having a reverse R-shaped part without disordering a winding shape.SOLUTION: The winding apparatus for the superconducting coil includes: a support unit for supporting the spool; a rotating unit for rotating the spool so as to wind the superconducting coil around the spool; and a pressing mechanism which presses the superconducting wire along a curved surface of the reverse R-shaped part of the spool. The pressing mechanism section includes a reverse R-shaped clamp for pressing the superconducting wire along the reverse R-shaped part and side clamps which are positioned on both sides of the reverse R-shaped part and press the superconducting wire. |
