PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water breaking structure in which an upper part of an offshore-side wall surface has a shape jutting to an offshore side so as to obtain non-wave-overtopping performance, and which hardly causes the overtopping waves due to the accompanied waves.SOLUTION: The water breaking structure 10 erected toward the offshore side has an upper part provided with the offshore-side wall surface 20 having the shape jutting to the offshore side so as to repel the waves coming from the offshore side. The offshore-side wall surface 20 has irregularities which are alternately repeated in a horizontal direction while the irregularities are provided on at least part of the portion 22 jutting to the offshore side at the deepest viewed from the offshore side of the offshore-side wall surface 20. |
