PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a carriage from being moved by a force applied from a recording paper to a protective member, in an inkjet recording apparatus including the protective member for preventing the recording paper from coming into contact with the ejection surface of an inkjet head.SOLUTION: A second carriage 9 is reciprocatively movable in a horizontal direction while following movement of a first carriage 4. Further, the second carriage 9 is relatively movable in a direction perpendicular to the first carriage 4, between a position where the bottom end of a projection 23 provided in the side surface of a support part 31 comes into contact with the top surfaces of guide rails 2 and 3 and a position where the top surface of a projection 24 provided in the side surface of the support part 31 comes into contact with the bottom surfaces of the guide rails 2 and 3. The second carriage 9 is constructed in such a state that it is moved upward maximally. The bottom ends 22a of two rollers 22 arranged on both sides of the first carriage 4 in the horizontal direction are located below from the ejection surface 6a. |
