PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide countermeasures for preventing any unlocking of a reclining lock mechanism caused by the collision load of a cargo or the like without any deformation of the reclining lock mechanism itself such as bend of a connection shaft, or without applying any change of a complicated mechanism to the inside of the reclining lock mechanism in a double-sided reclining seat for an automobile.SOLUTION: The double-sided reclining seat for the automobile includes a metal catch 10 which takes a load applied by baggage or the like to the rear side of a seat back. The metal catch 10 is mounted on and fixed to a connecting shaft 5 in such a way as to be oriented obliquely downward from the rear side of the shaft. As a load caused by baggage or the like is applied to the rear side of the seat back, the metal catch 10 under load holds down the connecting shaft 5 of the twin-type reclining locking mechanism in such a direction as to lock the reclining locking mechanism. |
