PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electro-optical device, a method for driving an electro-optical device, and an electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: An electrophoretic display device has an electrophoretic layer interposed between a pair of substrates and has a plurality of pixels, wherein first and second scanning lines, and first and second signal lines, and a capacity line are connected to each pixel. Each pixel includes a pixel electrode, first and second transistors having the gates connected to the first scanning line, a third transistor having the gate connected to the second scanning line, a buffer capacitor connected to the first and second transistors and the capacity line, and a holding capacity between the second and third transistors. The source of the first transistor is connected to the first signal line, and the drain of the second transistor is connected to the holding capacity and the pixel electrode. |
