PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of the analysis in a bioassay method of biotin, for biotin in a specimen containing vitamin B, by controlling the degradation of biotin by active oxygen derived from photoexcitation of vitamin Band by the pH condition at the time of extraction.SOLUTION: The bioassay method of biotin extracts biotin by using instruments that can shield light and by adjusting the pH of the specimen solution to 5-9 by adding pH buffer solution to the specimen containing biotin and vitamin B, and a bioassay kit is provided for measuring by this method. |
