PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bookbinding apparatus capable of performing bookbinding by using a cover sheet manually inserted and miniaturizing the apparatus.SOLUTION: In the bookbinding apparatus 1, a first conveying part 20 conveys inner page sheets 4 consisting of one or a plurality of sheets. A cover sheet 5 formed in a sheet-like shape can be manually inserted into an opening part 44. When the cover sheet 5 is inserted into the opening part 44, a second conveying part 38 conveys the inserted cover sheet 5 from the opening part 44 toward a predetermined one direction of the conveying direction. A bookbinding part 14 sticks one side part of the inner page sheets 4 on the cover sheet 5 conveyed by the second conveying part 38 to prepare a booklet 6. When the booklet 6 is prepared by the bookbinding part 14, the second conveying part 38 conveys this prepared booklet 6 toward the other direction of the conveying direction from the bookbinding part 14 to the opening part 44. |
