PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric storage device capable of reducing a pre-doping time.SOLUTION: An electric storage device includes: an electrode laminate unit in which a positive electrode and a negative electrode are alternately laminated via a separator; and a lithium electrode including metal lithium that pre-dopes lithium ions in the negative electrode. A through hole is formed along a thickness direction in a positive electrode collector and a negative electrode collector. The electric storage device is constituted such that a rate (an overlap rate, a hole overlap rate) of (b)/(a)×100 (%) is not less than 30%, wherein (a) is a sum of opening areas on a side facing the through holes of the positive electrode collector and the negative electrode collector of the positive electrode and the negative electrode adjacent with each other in a laminating direction, and (b) is an area of portions where the openings of the thorough holes overlap with each other. Thus, a position of the through hole between the laminated electrodes is optimized, and thereby, a migration length of the lithium ion is reduced, so that a diffusion velocity thereof can be controlled. |
