PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a writing utensil which can make a successful stirring of an aqueous ink composition containing not less than two kinds of concealing agents such as titanium oxide, even with the use of a stirrer with light specific gravity, and also, can sufficiently retain the concealing properties of a drawn line.SOLUTION: This writing utensil is of the following construction: An apex barrel part 26 is fitted to a bottomed tube-like container body 10 with an open apex, and a writing pointed end 16 is inserted into the apex barrel part 26 in the way that the former projects from the apex barrel part 26. Besides, inside the apex barrel part 26, a valvular element 20 for regulating the outflow of ink accommodated in the body container, is housed. Inside the container body 10, the stirrer 14 for stirring the ink is housed. The ink contains water, a first concealing agent selected from the group consisting of titanium oxide particle etc, and a second concealing agent selected from the group consisting of hollow resin particles etc. These two kinds of concealing agents are given as accounting for a total of 7 to 50 wt.%, and the measurements of viscosity of the concealing agents at the shear rate of 191.5(S) by ELD type rotary viscosimeter at 25°C, fall within the range of 12 to 22(mPa s). Further, the specific gravity of the stirrer including at least resin material, is not more than 4.6. |
