PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operation speed of a semiconductor integrated circuit by rapidly setting an internal voltage line at a predetermined voltage without degrading reliability of a switch.SOLUTION: This semiconductor integrated circuit includes: a first switch turned on in response to activation of a first switch control signal for connecting a first high-voltage line supplied with a first high voltage to an internal voltage line; a first voltage generation circuit operating in response to activation of a first voltage generation signal for generating the first high voltage; and a level comparator operating in response to the activation of the first voltage generation signal, comparing the first high voltage with the voltage of the internal voltage line, and activating the first switch control signal when a difference between the first high voltage and the voltage of the internal voltage line is set at a predetermined value. By comparing voltages applied to both ends of the first switch with each other and turning on the first switch when the voltage difference is decreased, the internal voltage line can be rapidly set at the predetermined voltage without degrading reliability of the first switch. |
