PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of detection of radiation emitted from a collected radioactive material, and also to facilitate decontamination of a detector.SOLUTION: Filter paper 31 being a filter for radiation detection, which contains a scintillator and can filtrate the radioactive material from a mixture containing the radioactive material, consists of a material which can transmit scintillation light emitted from the scintillator. The radiation detector 10 includes a filter part 20 which is composed of the filter paper 31 being the filter for radiation detection and of a filter paper holder 32 and photodetectors 21 which detect the scintillation light emitted from the scintillator of the filter paper 31. |
